112、Pack

A man phones home from the office and tells his wife, “I have the chance to go fishing for a week. It's the opportunity of a lifetime. We leave right away, so can you pack my clothes, my fishing equipment, and especially my blue silk pajamas24? I'll be home in an hour to pick them up.”
He hurries home, grabs everything and rushes off.
A week later he returns. His wife asks, “Did you have a good trip?”
“Oh yes, great! But you forgot to pack my blue silk pajamas.”
“Oh no I didn't. I put them in your tackle25 box.”

一个男人从办公室打电话回家，告诉妻子：“我有一个机会要外出钓鱼一星期，这是我一生中的好机会。我们马上就要出发，你能帮我整理衣物、钓鱼装备，特别是我那件蓝色丝绸睡衣吗？我一小时后回家拿。”

113、 Reason of Death

Two guys meet in heaven, and are chatting about how they died. The first guy says he froze to death, and the second guy says he died of a heart attack.
“How did that happen?” asks the first guy.
“Well, I came home and thought I heard my wife and another man. But when I went inside, I searched and searched for her, but couldn't find anybody. I was stricken with such remorse26 for accusing my wife of infidelity that I had a heart attack on the spot.”
“Geez,”says the first guy. “If you've opened the fridge, we'd both be alive right now.”

死因

两个男人在天堂相遇，聊起他们是如何死的。第一个男人说他是冻死的，第二个男人说他是死于心脏病发作。
“怎么发生的呢？”第一个人问道。
“我回到家，好像听到我妻子与另一个男人在一起。但当我走进去时，我找啊找，可一个人都找不到。我对于我竟怀疑妻子的忠贞感到非常自责，当场心脏病就发作了。
“唉，”第一个人说：“假如你当时打开了冰箱，那我们两个现在都还活着。”
